Step Two on How to Get to the Top of Google

Now that you have an Active Website, if it is going to be meaningful, you need to make a few modifications to get higher with google analytics.
Step 2: Find Your Niche
When you were in Real Estate school, you were told to "Find Your Niche". That holds true for our websites as well. On each page of your website, you need to include at least five powerful keywords that represent your chosen Niche. If someone is looking for Homes for Sale, your page may not become part of Page One of Google because Homes for Sale is a very broad category. However, if you are specializing in one particular subdivision, for example, you have a much more likelihood of getting on Page One of Google and that is the ultimate goal.
When people scan a page, they look in a "Z" pattern. The eyes start at the upper left-hand word on the page, scan right and then scan diagonally to the bottom left-hand corner of the page, then move right to the last image on the page. This Z-pattern is where your Keywords should be placed.
For this reason, many websites include a list of keywords at the end of all text. You might include your website name and then a word like "services" and a list of cities or subdivisions you service.
Example: HomeSearchMyrtleBeach services the 55+ communities, retirement communities, adult communities, of Myrtle Trace, Myrtle Trace South, Ridge Lake, Myrtle Trace Grande, Lakeside Crossing in Conway, South Carolina; Covenant Towers in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Woodlake Village , Seasons at Prince Creek West; Inlet Oaks Village, Jensens Captains Cove, Spring Forest in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; The Park at Long Bay in Longs, South Carolina; and Rivergate in Little River, South Carolina.
This ending list is not so much for public view as much as it is a list for the Google spiders to read. If it is a specialized keyword list of your Niche, then it will be rated higher than a list of general terms common to all Realtors.
Not:
HomeSearchMyrtleBeach specializes in homes for sale, home search, listings, realty, real estate listings, foreclosures, short sales and realtors.
You don't have to use the same keywords on every page. You can switch them up. But be sure to include at least five strong keywords that describe your Niche on EVERY page.
HomeSearchMyrtleBeach.com services Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Cherry Grove, Windy Hill, Crescent Beach, Ocean Drive, Murrells Inlet, Socastee, Conway, Loris, Longs, Surfside Beach, Socastee, Garden City, Little River and the surrounding areas.
