Ridge Lake - Retirement Community

Ridge Lake is a gated-55+ community located just west of Myrtle Beach.  There are only 39 homes, when completed, so it is small enough to know all of your neighbors--if you want.  There is a clubhouse with a pool for residents of the community and their guests.  The clubhouse is the hub of activity for the community.  It is where the residents hold their monthly meetings; however, it is also an active gathering place for residents. 

Next to the clubhouse is a half of a Bocce Court.  Residents form teams that compete throughout the year in hot weather or cold.  It's a lot of fun.  After a season of matches, all meet together for a party--any excuse for a party!  Sometimes the party is held at the clubhouse but it can also be held at a restaurant or at the Burning Ridge Golfcourse Clubhouse. 

Because the community is located on the Burning Ridge Golf Course, it is easy to arrange for golf outtings.  The Ridge Lake community has a men's league, women's league and couples league that takes place weekly.  Of course, anyone can practice or play on his/her own, as well.

Retirement Communities are not just for old people.  One member of the household has to be 55 years or older.  Ridge Lake is currently filled with Active Adults who participate in many activities.  There is always something to do.
