Get Your Home Ready to Sell with Low-Cost Improvements.

In a Buyer's Market, it is essential that your home stand out from the competition.  When you are getting ready to put your home on the market, prepare with several easy steps to make your home look modern, fresh, and move-in ready.

  • PAINT

    - Repaint your home with a neutral color that will appeal to most Buyers.  With just a little bit of effort, repainting can make your home look move-in ready,  A neutral color can also lighten-up your home, making it look fresh and clean.
  • BATHROOM/KITCHEN  REDO

    - It is expensive to do a bathroom or kitchen remodel.  Instead, replace the towels with new, fresh towels that will brighten up the look of the bathroom.  If possible, replace some of the fixtures with more modern ones made of brushed nickel.  This goes for the cabinet doorhandles, as well.  Bring your home into the current decade with these easy fixes.  These two rooms are the most important to Buyers.
  • LIGHTING

    - Replacing dated fixtures can also modernize your home.  Update any lighting fixtures in the home, replace all bulbs.  This may be a bit costly, but it will pay off at closing.
  • PRESSURE-WASH

    - Having a dirty outside appearance can easily turn off Buyers.  Pressure-Wash the home to get rid of dirt, mold and leaves.  Don't forget the gutters and sidewalks.  If Buyers do not like the outside of your home, they might just drive by without checking inside.
  • LANDSCAPING

    - Remove all dead flowers and shrubbery.  Remove all weeds.  Purchase flowers and/or shrubs that will stay fresh-looking while your home is on the market.  Try to make the gardens look as carefree as possible.  You may like to garden, but some Buyers want maintenance-free landscaping.  Finally, add mulch for a clean, carefree look.

These easy, low-cost steps will help your home stand-out from the competition and get your home sold quickly.Flower garden
