Live close to the beach - Providence Park and Antigua in Myrtle Beach, SC

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

That's the name of the game in real estate.  The closer you are to the beach, the more expensive the home.  Two great communities that are a bit different are Antigua and Providence Park.  These two communities are located off 82nd Parkway just one-block west of 17 Business in Myrtle Beach, SC.  The Grande Dunes developed just north and west of these communities, making them even more desirable.  In addition, they are next to Grand Strand Medical Center giving residents state-of-the-art medical treatment.

What makes Antigua and Providence Park different from most communities are the backyards.  They are completely private with no windows of adjoining homes facing the neighboring backyards.  Each of the tree-lined streets has homes nestled together forming a cozy, winding, secluded neighborhood.  There are gazebos in the heart of Antigua for a resting spot during walks.  The absence of sidewalks gives the communities a more country feel, as well.  The Home Owners Association takes care of the front yards to ensure all of the homesites remain pristine.  Windmill Palms and other trees popular to the South line the streets and entrances.

Some of my favorite restaurants and shops are located nearby.  Enjoy top dining experiences at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse or Collectors Cafe, two four-star restaurants in the area.  Unique clothing shops like Joan Crosby's make finding that special outfit a breeze.  Edible Arrangements and other specialty shops are also located just around the corner.  All of this while just a short hike to the beach.
