De-Personalize the Home For Sale

It is important that Buyers can Picture themselves in your home to improve your chances for a sale.   There are some easy steps to help de-personalize the space.

Remove most, if not all, family photos.  It is difficult for the buyers to visualize themselves in your home when your walls are covered with family photos.  The photos could be a distraction, as well.  You don't want Buyers to spend more time looking at your photos than your home. Choose a neutral paint color--not white.  Not everyone is a fan of bright burgandy walls.  Buyers want a color that will match their furniture so a neutral color on the walls works best.
